The star suffered pneumonia over Christmas, and was photographed in January looking ill and overweight, raising fears for his health from his own mother.
But sources reveal Eminem is fighting back and recording new tracks with Dr. Dre. An insider tells the New York Post, [i]"He has been cutting new tracks with Dr. Dre. They still have a ways to go, but so far it's really good."[/i]
A representative confirms the reports, adding that Eminem is busy hitting the gym: [i]"He's always in the studio and has worked with a trainer." [/i]

Attorneys say Eminem's lawsuit, among other similar suits, is unlikely to proceed very far, but the real goal of the litigation is to challenge the claim by record labels that they have the right to negotiate Internet sales on their behalf.

You also won three MTV Video Music Awards that year. Were you happy, or did all of the recognition go against what you wanted to say as an artist?

I was, of course, worried that I was becoming like all of those pop artists that I was taking stabs at around that time. But then again, I was taking stabs at just about everyone. [b]EMINEM CONCERT CASE SETTLED IN HIGH COURT // June 25, 2007

The settlement means Eminem will not now have to give evidence on oath before a US court about the circumstances of his withdrawal from the gig, which had been scheduled for 17 September 2005.
The settlement of the action brought by concert promoter MCD was announced to Ms Justice Mary Finlay Geoghegan at the Commercial Court, the commercial division of the High Court. The action was struck out, but no details of the settlement were disclosed.

Busta Rhymes brings his maniacal AR-15 flow to the grumpy hop of "Hurt," while Act II — T.I.'s portion of the LP — starts off with the MC's calmer persona teaming with Nelly for "Show It to Me."

Em, who also produced the track, uses a Dirty South flow to spread word of good times ("I got the whole place looking like it's candy painted") and wild adventures, such as people "hopping around like Frogger when they see Marshall's car coming."
